The Vision Behind We Are The Gifted, Inc.

We Are The Gifted, Inc., formally known as The Gifted Project, was founded out of a lifelong calling to recognize, cultivate, and affirm the gifts God has placed within people—especially youth—and to create safe, purpose-driven spaces where those gifts can be expressed with confidence, integrity, and positive impact.

At the heart of this organization is the belief that every gift comes from God, and no one should feel ashamed, silenced, or pressured to misuse what God has given them. Whether expressed through the arts, leadership, service, creativity, or encouragement, gifts were meant to build, uplift, and glorify God while positively influencing the world around us.

The Birth of the Vision

The vision for We Are The Gifted and The Gifted Project was born through prayer, obedience, and years of real-life experience. Gigi believes the vision was not something she created on her own, but something God entrusted to her—a mandate to help people, especially youth, understand that their gifts are not accidents and do not need to be hidden.

The message was clear:
People need space to express themselves, to develop their gifts, and to use them for good—without shame, fear, or pressure to conform to negativity.

This vision extends beyond the church walls. While We Are The Gifted is rooted in faith and guided by biblical principles, its reach is intentionally inclusive—welcoming individuals from all backgrounds who desire to grow, create, and contribute positively to their communities.

A Foundation in the Arts & Youth Development

Gigi’s background includes formal training through the Performing School of the Arts, where she developed a deep appreciation for creative expression as a powerful tool for growth, discipline, and confidence-building. Over the years, she has directed and participated in major stage productions, many of which intentionally incorporated youth ministry, young creatives, and emerging talent.

These productions went beyond performance—they became platforms for mentorship, collaboration, and transformation. Youth were not only given opportunities to perform, but also to learn teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and self-expression in healthy, structured environments.

Through drama, dance, music, spoken word, and stage production, Gigi witnessed firsthand how creative expression can become a gateway for healing, confidence, and purpose—especially when guided with intention and care.

Bigger Than One Person

While the vision began with Gigi Riley, We Are The Gifted, Inc. is bigger than any one individual. It is a collective movement rooted in purpose, service, and impact. The organization exists to support the next generation, strengthen communities, and remind people that their gifts—when developed and used with integrity—can change lives.

Through mentorship, creative platforms, music initiatives, and community partnerships, We Are The Gifted continues to build pathways where gifts are nurtured, identity is affirmed, and purpose is strengthened.
